Hi my name is Walt Whitson,
These picture date from around mid forties, I got this for Christmas that year. I rember that I couldn't wait to show it to our neighbor, as he drove log truck. This truck was my pride , and joy for years to come. I remember mom getting mad at me one day, and through my truck out the door, braking one of the axles. I was heart broken, dad was always going to have it fixed but never did. I don't remember what happened to the truck. I am now retired after 44 years of driving the real thing, no I don't miss it :) I live in Independence just a few miles away, and would like to come by your shop one of these days.
